Sound Stuttering

Some suggestion from the newsgroup:

44100 hz sampling rate instead of 22050
change core=normal to core=dynamic
increase frameskip to 1 (CTRL F8)
decrease cpu cycles (CTRL F11) until sound gets better
Make sure you have the latest video, sound, and motherboard chipset drivers installed for your system
If you're using Windows, make sure you have the latest updates installed, especially DirectX
uhm don't run 24 bit color mode.
decrease the Sampling rate to 22050
decrease the blocksize to 2048
